Good morning from the Magic Kingdom! The crowds are slowly starting to return, as we’ve noticed all the waits in the park have had a significant increase from last week. Thankfully, it’s not too bad around here.

The lines were short getting into the park, and Main Street feels really spacious.

Be Our Guest had a pretty intense line to get in for breakfast. They giving away free food in there, or what? This was the first sign that the crowds had picked up significantly over the weekend.

It makes sense while people would wait forever to get into Be Our Guest. I’m infuriated daily watching families eating out of their lap. This is ridiculous. Cast Members keep telling me “it takes time” to move the tables back. Not sure how much time they need, when they clearly moved them all away in one day. During the Cinderella Castle Pathway Expansion, there were tables set up behind Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, but those are long gone. Now guests are forced to eat standing up or huddled into shaded nooks around Liberty Square. There really aren’t many options for quick breakfast foods, so it’s really unfortunate guests have limited options and no seating. If I wanted to stand and eat in the sun over a trash can, I’d go to Epcot.

We reported to you on our last visit that the lights had been fixed in the hair salon on the PeopleMover. If you heard delighted squealing coming from the PeopleMover, that was me. Still excited to see this repaired so quickly!

Now what’s up with this cute little Pooh clock? This would be so cute if it worked.

It’s been fun, Imagination Pink, but I think we’re over you. There’s a new color trend in town.

Halloween gift cards with last year’s artwork can be found around the park.

I love how they’ve decorated this room in Memento Mori. I wish this was in my house.

Some tall bushes around the pet cemetery at the Haunted Mansion.

The pathway along Cinderella Castle into Tomorrowland was closed off.

The wait times aren’t too bad, but we’ll miss those 15 minute waits!

Stitch, your hat is making me hungry.

Time to head out of here and grab some lunch. Thanks for joining us around the Magic Kingdom, and be sure to stay tuned for more updates!

  1. Annie, thanks for pictures, always love your reports! You’re absolutely right, the Sleepy Hollow tables, or lack thereof, are ridiculous. We literally did as you described but on Aug 26th, right after the pathway reopened! It’s sad that it’s still that way exactly 2 weeks later.
