Exciting changes are coming at Epcot! As part of a park-wide transformation, multiple classic storefronts are shutting their doors to make way for new offerings. Originally set to close in the Fall to make way for a new Pin Central, Camera Center is now closed at Epcot.

Before we delve in further, here’s a look at what the store looked like prior to its closure.

The shop, located near the entrance of the park, offered PhotoPass prints and downloads, as well as various gifts and snacks, plus a FuelRod kiosk. Best of all, it was the location of the Figment stroller full of trading pins.

The doors of Camera Center closed forever last night, with covers now over the iconic signage (though not nearly as iconic as Gateway Gifts, of course.)

In the meantime, Guests are encouraged to visit Pin Central for PhotoPass services.

The old FuelRod kiosk is now across the way at Gateway Gifts.

As far as the fate of Pin Central, now we know why its closure was delayed. Originally part of the September 7th scheduled closing group, the popular spot for limited edition pins won’t be closing for another few months, set to finally close in January of 2020.

We’ll keep you updated on the status of all the upcoming Epcot closures in the coming months.

  1. Its only a matter of time before Matt Sonswa breaks in to show the deterioration and 1970s left over kodak film

  2. Sigh I used to buy slide film there. I was there last week and snapped a pic of the Camera Center sign since I knew they were closing at some point. Goodbye old Epcot :-(
