Good morning from Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

It’s a great day to catch a ride on the Disney Skyliner, especially if you’re a Cast Member, as general previews are now open to all cast. While general park guests still have to wait for the Skyliner’s official grand opening on September 29th, they can at least snag an unobstructed view of the old-school Hollywood glam station as construction walls are now down. (Yes, we’ve been craning over the fences and walls this whole time to bring you photos.) Check out the station in its full, scrim-less glory below!

Cast Members that have registered are currently in line to be among the first to ride the Disney Skyliner. You can check out the Skyliner’s very first passengers as they boarded the gondolas in this initial post.

You can get an idea of what the boarding process will be like as guests queue up along the ramp before boarding a gondola.

During previews, it appears each party is getting their own Skyliner gondola, but that procedure is likely to change once the transportation system opens up to the general public and is expected to maintain high capacity.

A series of requisite warning signs line the perimeter fencing in order to ensure guest and Cast Member safety. These gondolas zip in and out of the stations at relatively high speeds.

So, are you excited to ride the Disney Skyliner? If you get to ride it before the rest of us do, do chime in with your experiences!
