REVIEW: New Pumpkin Creme Brulee is Basically Perfect at Amorette’s Patisserie

We stopped by Amorette’s Patisserie at Disney Springs to check in on the latest goodies for Fall. We spotted some new snacks in the display case, and among them was a Pumpkin Creme Brulee. It is calling to us! The pumpkin brulee looks so good, we had to give it a try.

We loved the Pina Colada Creme Brulee (which is still available) so we were eager to try one of our favorite fall flavors. You know we weren’t going to pass up any pumpkin dessert.

The Pumpkin Brulee is $6 and comes in a cute individual serving. The crispy sugar coating on top is decorated with candied pecans, a sable cookie, and chocolate piece. Unfortunately, our chocolate piece fell on the ground. Thankfully, we didn’t lose the cookie or any pecans.

The cookie is delicious. It tastes similar to a shortbread or sugar cookie. It’s disappointing they aren’t a little bigger because they’re so good. Just sell us a box of these little cookies, please.

The sugar has a nice cracking sound when you break into the custard, and the candied pecans give an added crunch. The pumpkin custard is very thick and creamy, with a very strong taste similar to pumpkin pie filing. It actually caught us off guard with how strong the pumpkin flavor was.

There’s definitely a lot of delicious desserts to choose from this fall. This might not be the most eye-catching dessert, but it will impress you with it’s flavor. For the price, you can’t beat the quality of this dessert from Amorette’s Patisserie. If you love pumpkin, don’t miss this.

  1. The cookie was far from delicious. It was downright bad. The brulee is great, but the cookie was obviously more decorative than edible.
