It’s pumpkin spice season, which means we are on the lookout for anything and everything to satisfy our basic pumpkin needs.
We were making our way around the World Showcase the other day when we noticed a new seasonal offering in Germany at the Weinkeller. The shiny orange bottle of Mozart Chocolate Cream Pumpkin Spice Liqueur is giving us all the fall vibes. It even has a jack-o-lantern face on the bottle, so of course, we had to give it a try.
You can purchase this new seasonal offering as a two ounce shot for $11.
They really fill that shot glass all the way to the top.
The bright orange color was a little surprising, but we could smell chocolate and alcohol right away. This is a very creamy drink, so we slowly savored it in small sips. At first taste, we were a bit surprised at the slight “burn” from the alcohol. By the second sip, more of the chocolate notes came through. The pumpkin spice flavor is there, too, but the chocolate is the stand-out flavor here.
The sweet flavor almost reminded us of chocolate milk, with a bit of spice and alcohol to it. It’s delicious. We quickly fell in love, and added this to our “must-have” list for Epcot.
The Mozart Chocolate Cream Pumpkin Spice Liqueur is a basic need on our next visit to Epcot. If you’re looking for pumpkin spice that will give you a buzz, look no further than this little shot. Cheers to fall!
They should rename the land from Germany to Austria.
Almost all the music (and even the live musicians) they play there is Austrian “Volksmusik” and basically all the food there is typically Austrian.
Mozart is an Austrian composer and the Chocolate Pumpkin Spice Liquor was made in Salzburg, Austria where Mozart was born(as you can see on the top of the bottle).
The only typically German is complaining that everything is better back home.
As we Austrians speak German, too, I could often overhear German castmembers making fun of Americans, talking about how stupid Americans are and how much they hate their job. Not all of them, I would like to stress that, but there are quite a lot of black sheep there.
Greetings from Vienna, where Mozart lived most of his life and died.
