What could be better than the sight of Cinderella Castle at the end of Main Street U.S.A. on a sunny morning? The view never gets old, especially with a bright blue sky in the background. Let’s get started with a quick look into the Emporium.
This is starting to get a little out of hand. There’s been a price increase on Minnie ear headbands. A pair of these little beauties will cost you $29.99 now, versus $27.99 a few days ago, and $24.99 before that. Minnie ears have become a popular, stylish accessory for trips to the parks, but this price increase might make us think twice before picking up the next new ears.
Cooler weather can’t be far away, so new long sleeved Mickey crop tops have arrived at the Emporium. They come in rose gold, purple, black, and gray, for $39.99 each. They’re nice and soft, with “Walt Disney World” written above Mickey on the front.
If you weren’t able to make it to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year, you can still pick up many of the party items during the day from gift shops around the park. Today, we spotted the Hitchhiking Ghost popcorn bucket has materialized at the popcorn cart in Liberty Square near Liberty Tree Tavern.
We caught a glimpse of Peter Pan flying away.
Pluto has been roaming Storybook Circus lately having fun with the kids.
Fantasyland was pretty quiet early in the day.
Me taking off my sad face to put on a happy face now that the crowds are gone.
Liberty Square Market has a little more brick detailing, and several spots on the wall look ready for installation of new lighting. We can’t wait to see how this turns out.
Two new slap bracelets are available, for “Frozen 2” and “Toy Story 4”.
Every day at Disney is a good day.
Mickey’s Star Traders in Tomorrowland is being remodeled, even though the store has remained open. A wall is in place on one side of the store, and today we noticed the green color on the pipes has been repainted to silver in certain place. We’re hoping this store gets a themed redesign, and not something bland and neutral.
Since we’re here in Tomorrowland, let’s take a look at the sight of TRON Lightcycle Run. It looks like more track is getting installed, and there are lots of people active on the construction site today. Things are coming along nicely, and more than just the main show building is starting to take shape.
This axe hanging above the door inside Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe has some fun details.
Thanks for following us around the Magic Kingdom today! Be sure to stay tuned for more updates from around the parks.
There is no way those ears are worth $30. My money is staying in my pocket!
I’ve stopped buying park merchandise. The quality keeps getting worse as the prices go up. Not worth the money.
Only in a place like Florida could you get away with wearing the oxymoron of a long-sleeved cropped top!
