We come to you today from EPCOT and World Showcase, where some new restrooms are being constructed. These new restrooms will replace the smaller ones located in Showcase Plaza near Refreshment Port at the border of Future World and World Showcase.
Let’s take a look at the work being done on this new and improved restroom!
This new restroom is much larger than the old one and is looking quite nice! The restroom, which we’ve seen go up in stages, now has a roof and is taking shape with walls.
Nearby, we can see the demolition starting on the old restroom.
Behind the green construction walls, we can see that the roof has started to come down as well as the front of the building.
The old restroom is easily seen from the pathway, making for a slight eyesore for guests walking around World Showcase.
There is no timetable for the opening of the new restroom, but it would make sense for it to open before the holiday season later this year.
