We love finding merchandise for attractions that are no longer with us at the Disney Parks. Today, at the World of Disney store at the Disneyland Resort, we spotted two new sweatshirts with vintage artwork for 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and the Skyway attractions.

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Sweatshirt – $54.99

This sea foam green crew sweatshirt features the classic artwork for this attraction (whether it be the Disneyland walkthrough or the Disney World ride) in bright colors.

The Nautilus and the giant squid really pop out with this design, adding not only to the nostalgia but vintage vibes that this sweatshirt is going for.

Skyway Hooded Long Sleeve Shirt – $44.99

This white hooded long sleeve shirt features the original gondola system that Disney had. The red gondola is front and center of this shirt, with a few clouds in the background.

Underneath the bolded letters of the Skyway, in smaller red font are “from Tomorrowland to Fantasyland”.

The back of the shirt features the bolded Skyway again, but this time going vertically instead of horizontally. The to and from destinations are in red at the bottom here as well.

A “Skyway to Fantasyland” shirt was released earlier this year, giving off a more retro look than the style we see here today.

What do you think of these vintage merchandise items? Are there any attractions that have gone that you wish there was more merchandise for?

  1. Wow, a $55 Sweat Shirt & a $45 long sleeve tee, are they trying to raise money to bring the rides back or something?

  2. Honestly, I’m kind of surprised they would release a throwback “Skyway” shirt now that the new one is up and running. It’s a ride many theme parks have, plus why create confusion over where your new transportation system goes to? People who aren’t aware there was an old one might be confused if they see this. I’ll take more Peoplemover merch anyday!

  3. STOPPPPP! You’re killing me disney!!! I’m going next week and have to be really careful not to buy too many things as we are moving next year(Ironically to Florida about an hour from WDW) and we have so much stuff now that we can’t move all of it right away! :)
