We’ve had our eye out for the new Jarrito de Dante mug since the Halloween and Coco celebrations started almost a month ago. We’re happy to report that this adorable mug is finally available at Cocina Cucamonga and Paradise Garden Grill inside Disney California Adventure. The Coco savory offerings were one of our sleeper hits for food from Paradise Garden Grill. Now you can add some Mexican hot chocolate in a Dante mug with your meal.

Jarrito de Dante – $12.99

This ceramic mug may not be the most high-quality mug in your collection, but what it lacks in quality is made up in Dante’s cuteness. The images are stick-on, but seem like they will stay on. The bottom of the mug does warn that it is not microwave or dishwasher safe. It appears to be a similar mug to the 2018 edition, but with different decals.

The back side of the mug has a Dia de los Muertos Coco.

The center of the mug has a Coco logo.

We opted for the Mexican hot chocolate to get the full Coco experience, but you can get any fountain beverage with this. The hot chocolate was delicious, even on this rather hot day. It was rich and chocolatey, with subtle hints of cinnamon. The whipped cream topping added even more richness as it melted into the drink. Also to note was that it was not overly sweet, as most Disney drinks tend to be. Kids and adults alike should be happy with this.
