To help navigate all the temporary construction walls and moveable rolling hedges, a new column sign has been placed outside. The sign points the way to The Seas with Nemo and Friends and to Coral Reef Restaurant.

Further along the path, there is another sign pointing to the entrance of Coral Reef Restaurant.

The gift shop has new carpeting in this gray-brown print with squiggles that resemble seaweed and spots that look like bubbles and sea foam.

In the middle of the building at a junction between all the main areas there is a new large, illuminated directional sign. This sign points guests to the correct locations to see all their favorite sea animals.

It even features the original EPCOT logo for The Living Seas!

Upstairs in the aquarium viewing areas, new frames have been added to the insides of the windows to give a nice, finished submarine look.

These orange and white frames line each window and were placed by divers! (Guess those underwater welding classes came in handy after all.)

Have you made a trip to The Seas with Nemo and Friends? What is your favorite marine life fact you have learned from this educational area?

  1. I love the starfish that look like a toasted marshmallow! Can’t remember their name. I didn’t know starfish like that existed!

  2. I can spends hours here! I love to sit on the window ledge and watch the manatees, dolphins, and sea turtles. This is one of my favorite places in Epcot to visit.
