REVIEW: New Galactic Green Popcorn Lands at Kat Saka’s Kettle in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

New food items have landed at both Black Spire Outposts on the West and East Coast, with a slew of new items at Disneyland and a new Chicken Ronto Wrap and Ronto Chips here at Ronto Roasters.¬†Over at Kat Saka’s Kettle, there’s a new popcorn flavor on offer. (Unfortunately no, it isn’t the delicious Chocolate Popcorn with Crait Red Salt that was released at Disneyland.)

You can see the green-tinged kernels from one of the furnaces on display at Kat Saka’s. The popcorn isn’t on any menus (online or on-site), but it is available freshly popped.

Unfortunately, there wasn’t much to this popcorn. It just tasted… like regular Disney popcorn. A bit of salt, a bit of butter… some green coloring for space pizzazz, but that’s about it.

Our face when we realize it’s just normal popcorn.

Unlike most buttered popcorn on property, we couldn’t receive any confirmation on whether this is vegan or not (the Outpost Mix is, as it’s made with coconut oil.) It also had a ton of unpopped kernels. For $6.49, we recommend you go with the Black Spire Outpost exclusive popcorn, and not this generic snack.

This looks to be regular popcorn with green food coloring. At least I got to try the previous multi colored popcorn they had before. The previous multi colored popcorn I had was 95 percent shells. Looks like this also has shells.

For Galaxy’s Edge in DHS, they should get the hand made Werther’s caramel popcorn from EPCOT, give it a space name, and sell that at Galaxy’s Edge in DHS

That Werther’s caramel popcorn from EPCOT is EXCELLENT!
