Good morning from a very crowded Animal Kingdom! We dealt with the crowds and the heat today to see what the jungle had to throw our way.

DAK Crowds

Let us connect to our Banshee and take flight!

DAK Christmas

DAK Christmas

Over at Island Mercantile, we spotted the beginnings of Christmas with these festive little critters lining the roof.

We can see what seems to be a type of lantern in the shapes of squirrels, owls, doves, wolves and reindeer.

Across the road, Riverside Depot was also given the animal lantern treatment. These decorations are just the beginning of what’s to come to Discovery Island for the parks highly anticipated Christmas offerings.

My First Trip to WDW Onesie – $19.99

Onesie

Onesie

At Discovery Trading company you can now commemorate your little ones first trip to the most magical place on earth with these onesies.

Flame tree barbecue

*sniff* I love the smell of barbecue in the morning. Maybe later we can get a Hot Link Smokehouse Sausage.

Lion Paw Cookie – $3.50

Lion paw cookie

We stumbled upon the new Lion Paw cookie at the snack cart opposite Trilo-Bites. This Christmas colored lions paw isn’t available at all carts yet, as most are still selling the orange ones from Halloween. So, if you happen to get your paws on these paws, you’re one lucky cub.

DA Christmas

Slowly, this Dino is getting its full body covered in lights. Maybe by next week, the back legs will be done.

Mickey Christmas Lights – $34.99

Christmas Lights

Christmas Lights

It’s that time of year again. The time of year where your dad gets frustrated with tangled Christmas lights! Why don’t you be a nice kid and buy him a brand new box of these Mickey-shaped ones?

DAK Singer

There’s so much talent everywhere you turn in Walt Disney World.

Gingerbread Cookie

You can decorate your own Mickey Gingerbread Cookie over at Discovery Trading Company. The kit includes two Mickey Mouse shaped gingerbread cookies, red and white icing, and chocolate chips! You can also see by the ingredients they are egg and dairy free, yay!

Everest

I hear a Yeti lives up in that mountain, among a sea of hair ties!

I love walking around Animal Kingdom and just reading the writings on the walls. Do you have a favorite quote you’ve passed? Let us know in the comments below!

Time to disconnect from our Banshee and return back to Earth. Thank you for joining us today, we hope you had a wild time!
