Welcome to the Hollywood Hills where we are celebrating a very special star’s birthday. That’s right, the man himself, the big cheese, the leader of the club, Mickey Mouse!
Today marks the 91st birthday of Mickey, so in celebration, all the parks were handing out these commemorative buttons for the occasion. Now, with everyone decked out in their celebratory gear, let’s hit the shops.
Over at the five and dime we spotted a new Toy Story Land keychain. Featuring the green aliens and “THE CLAAAaaaAAAW” this accessory rings up for $9.99.
There was also this unique Frozen 2 coloring book where the pages can be colored via dry erase markers. This was $19.99.
You can also opt for a more traditional art kit. This one brings me back. For $24.99 you get 16 markers, 10 colored pencils, 16 crayons, a pencil sharpener, eraser, sketch pad, pencil, 3 sticker sheets, 2 stencils, a ruler and a pair of scissors. Now this is what dreams are made of.
It’s getting a little chilly out there these days, so why don’t you do your little tyke a favor and get them something to warm their heads and hands?
Your little one can rock the dots with this Minnie Mouse inspired beanie with pom pom ears and matching character gloves.
Or maybe you’re more of a Mickey fan, this hat features the birthday boys signature dotted shorts and matching gloves as well. These are each $21.99 for the set.
On our walk down Sunset Boulevard we decided to take a look at some of the many films that Mickey has starred in over his 91 years.
Hang ten, Mickey! Tubular.
Hot Chocolate seems to be added to the menu over the KRNR Rock Station. It seems like Vampirina used only her best magic makers to make this sign. (Maybe she used her Frozen 2 art kit.)
Good news to all those planning on traveling to a different planet. It seems puffer jackets are a thing on Batuu! I guess Princess Leia’s Hoth fashion has spread to other planets.
Star Wars beanies were rolled out at Tatooine Traders. You’d think everyone was cold or something.
Ventilated? Not ventilated! I’m too young to be ventilated.
Stone Granite was showing off his Academy Award win to everyone who passed. Nice to see that tumbler of 7 and 7 replaced with something else.
And ladies and gentlemen, the moment you’ve all been waiting for. The winner of the Funniest Citizen of Hollywood Contest, 1947. Put your hands together for… Officer William Club!
That about wraps up our journey into the movies today. Oh, one more thing. When I yell “Action!”, don’t forget the thunderous applause for yours truly. Places everybody! And… Action!
