Hello there! It’s a cool morning here at Magic Kingdom…cool as in 65 degrees…but that’s chilly in Orlando. We even had to put on a jacket! There’s a lot going on (especially with construction) around the park, so let’s get going.
Before we even reached Magic Kingdom, we walked upon work underway at the Transportation and Ticket Center. Our best guess is that workers were installing a temporary ramp to allow for equipment to be moved to and from the ongoing construction happening by the security checkpoint area.
On our monorail ride in, we were able to get a good look at the front entrance construction site.
Work is coming along on what will become a planter.
Prep work is being done for more concrete to be poured.
Roofing continues to be installed on the new security structure at the front entrance.

We finally made it inside! We got this great view of Cinderella’s Castle and the Christmas Tree from the top of the train station.
The Citizens of Main Street joined the Dapper Dans in singing “Turkey in the Straw” from Steamboat Willie to pay tribute to Mickey Mouse.
The Dapper Dans were ready to bring Christmas cheer, dressed in their holiday best.
Over in Tomorrowland, the curved panels that were added as part of the new 1994 Tomorrowland thematic accents are in the process of being removed. The covered area on the left is flat on top, while covered area on the right still has the back panel of the accent sticking up.
TRON construction keeps chugging along. Supplies are being stored underneath a tent. There was a lot of noise, especially hammering, coming from the site.
Everyone’s favorite pup Pluto was roaming around Storybook Circus, greeting young fans.
We particulary enjoyed the Christmas touches at Gaston’s Tavern. It’s true…he does use antlers in all of his decorating!
In Frontierland, Wendell received a candy treat from a guest.
He was surprised when his character attendant explained to him that the treat was for him…then he was overjoyed.
Of course, as any bear would do, Wendell gobbled it up!
At Frontier Trading Post, there were a handful of the limited release Magical Christmas Day Parade pins left.
It retails for $17.99.
At Liberty Square Market, landscaping has officially started. We have a tree! The top, light gray portion of the concrete walls have also been added.
We stumbled upon this new Lilo and Stitch top in Agrabah Bazaar. We love how much appreciation the early 2000s Disney movies are getting lately. This shirt retails at $34.99.
The Casey’s Corner pianist was tickling the ivories. He played “It’s a Small World” for us as we headed toward the park’s exit.
Well that concludes our day at Magic Kingdom! Thanks for following us around! Keeping checking WDWNT for all the action happening around Walt Disney World Resort.
Nice to see Chief Smokey join in with the Dapper Dans! That is very rare!
