Hello from Magic Kingdom! It’s a beautiful day to explore the park and see what has been sprinkled with pixie dust since our last visit. Come along and let’s see what’s going on.
On our way into the Magic Kingdom we saw that the new bridge that will link the Grand Floridian and Magic Kingdom has been installed.
We found this gorgeous Frozen 2 Elsa ornament at The Emporium. Elsa stands on a base decorated with snowflakes as a swirl of air and leaves surrounds her. She looks totally fierce and sings ”Into the Unknown,” the big anthem from the upcoming movie. The ornament is $24.99.
The weird spherical sequin Minnie plush we found a few weeks ago has a partner! Here is the matching weird Mickey. With his sequins facing down he looks like your favorite classic Mickey. With the sequins up, his pants turn blue, his face and ears turn purple, and he winks at you! He is $29.99.
Next we saw these cute friendship necklaces for you to share with your BFF. This set features Timon and Pumbaa.
The next set is for a mother and daughter. The mother’s necklace is a bit larger than the daughter’s necklace making them the perfect sizes for a mother/daughter duo.
The last set reads “No Prince Needed” and would be perfect for two sassy, independent ladies. Each set of necklaces is $19.99 and comes on a piece of perforated cardboard so you can tear them apart and share.
In front of the Main Street Cinema we ran into the Dapper Dans and the Citizens of Main Street having the time of their lives! The Dans told the best Mickey Mouse joke I have ever heard. It goes like this: What is Mickey Mouse’s favorite sport?
… Minnie Golf!
Our pal Smoky stole the heart of one lucky guest and twirled her around the impromptu dance floor right on Main Street.
Speaking of the Main Street Cinema, there will be a special event for Christmas Precious Moments dolls with designer Linda Rick from November 21-25, 2019.
As we came up to the Hub we spotted the trolly all dolled up in its Christmas best pulling right up in front of Cinderella Castle. Does it get any better than this?
While we rode the People Mover to catch a glimpse of TRON construction, we saw into Space Mountain with the lights on!
Space Mountain was closed for about an hour before guests were able to hop aboard and travel through twists and turns at warp speed.
It was such a busy day that even the wait for Guest Experiences was 20+ minutes.
Back on Main Street on our way out we heard an interesting song and went to check it out. It was a Cast Member playing a jazzy version of “Remember Me” from Coco. He was totally riffing it and playing from memory! Disney Cast Members are truly some of the most talented folks out there.
The Confectionery also caught our eye and made us start dreaming of all the Christmas treats still left to be eaten in the next month. What Disney Christmas foods are you dreaming of?
That’s all for today in the Magic Kingdom! Be sure to join us next time for a spin around The Happiest Place on Earth.
Smoky dancing with the guest is the Disney magic right there :)
