Construction walls have been installed at what will be the entrance to the upcoming Space 220 restaurant in EPCOT. Located near the Test Track side of Mission: Space, the black walls are an unassuming look at the place where guests will be sent 220 miles in the air to enjoy a fine meal by the Patina Group.

Guests will enter the venue through the far right side of the Mission: SPACE facade (where paper FastPass distribution was located many years ago), very similar to how guests get to Coral Reef Restaurant at The Seas with Nemo and Friends. Once in the departure lobby, guests can check-in and then board one of two transportation chambers that will take them into “space”.

The walls do not reveal much of what the entrance may look like, but as construction progresses, hopefully we’ll get to see more. The restaurant is still slated to open this winter at EPCOT. You can check out more details on it here.

Are you excited to visit Space 220 when it opens later this year at EPCOT?

  1. Was hoping this would be open by the time we get there, but..I don’t think it will be ready in 2 weeks. I will have to wait to live through you guys when they finally open!

  2. No more restaurants, gift shops, or photo pass spots to push more sales please.. We need more exhibits and things to see and do. Every new edition seems to be nothing but additional money grab spots.

  3. I’m still hopeful it will be open by the end of January, which is when I’m visiting. I would LOVE to be able to make a reservation.
