We’ve been following the progress around the Liberty Square Market at the Magic Kingdom since the project started. This seating area has been under refurbishment for the last few months, but it looks like they could be wrapping up very soon. Let’s take a look at some of the latest changes since our previous update.

Most of the equipment and supplies that had been scattered about the work site have been cleared from the area. The bricks around the tree had been a brighter red on our last visit, but today they look more toned down. The last section of rebar framework has also been filled in, making this area look nearly completed.

It appears some of the brick walls around the seating area have been covered in some sort of plastic, too.

With Thanksgiving right around the corner and the start of winter peak season here at the parks, we’re going to need all the seating areas we can get. Hopefully this seating area will open very soon and we’ll be able to sit and enjoy our turkey legs. Be sure to keep following for the latest update and this and other construction projects happening around the resorts.
