Cue the toy soldiers and trumpets, it’s the first night of Disneyland’s “A Christmas Fantasy” parade! A staple in the park since 1995, we welcomed back this parade with open arms, ready to soak up the holiday cheer!

The parade opens with our favorite ballerina and teddy bear welcoming us to a Christmas fantasy, and we are ready to watch the story unfold.

Immediately following is the incredibly talented toy-soldiers, and we’re always blown away by how they can march and play the trumpet at the same time.

We then get our first float of the parade, and of course, it has to Mickey and Minnie! They are accompanied by Donald and Santa’s favorite helpers, Chip and Dale.

We’re then welcome to Winter Wonderland, full of skiers and adorable snowmen, and two that look suspiciously like Mickey and Minnie Mouse…

A blue and white gorgeous Christmas tree follows our skiers, and we know what means. If things suddenly got a bit chilly, it’s because we’ve reached the Frozen section of the parade. Our favorite ice princess and queen, Anna & Elsa, are surrounded by beautiful, dancing ice skaters while they wave to the crowd.

We’re then treated to the real recipe for gingerbread treats as gingerbread men and bakers dance together. They are followed by Chef Goofy and Pluto, who seem to be baking up some yummy holiday treats for us.

Our next section is dedicated to our favorite Disney couples. Snow White and The Prince, Tiana and Prince Naveen, Cinderella and Prince Charming, Princess Aurora and Prince Philip, Belle and the Beast and Ariel and Prince Eric have us swooning and dancing right along with them.

Santa’s Toyland comes next, and we know what that means! The Greeny Army Man and Jesse are here to make hijinks with the crowd as Woody rides in on a wooden rocking horse right behind them. They are followed by more Green Army Men, Buzz Lightyear, and of course, aliens.

We’re then greeted by a classily decorated Christmas tree and reindeer and I think we know what that means, it’s time for Santa Claus to make his grand entrance!

Is there anything more magical than Santa Claus himself wishing us a happy holiday? It’s always the perfect ending to this parade. While 2019 didn’t bring any major changes to this parade lineup, we still love it. Be sure to check out our full video below!
