Santa’s coming to town… actually, Santa Claus is in town! His reindeer landed him right here at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in Disney California Adventure. Now, let’s meet the big guy and share our list with him.
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail is decked out for the season, though perhaps not as intensely as Villains Grove at this year’s Oogie Boogie Bash. But this has one thing Villains Grove didn’t: Santa Claus.
There’s elf games galore to be found within this trail.
Elves-in-training can enjoy such activities as Gift Hide and Seek, Pack the Presents, Chip and Dale’s Gift, and Fly with the Reindeer! (Of course, if you find reindeer difficult to fly with, there’s always Soarin’ Around the World next door.)
I do love the arts-and-crafts vibe of the signage. It feels like a homemade holiday.
The theme continues into the decorations themselves, blending perfectly with the woodsy area.
And then, of course, there’s the man himself. He seemed very jolly and happy to see us.
As you can see, there’s plenty to do with Santa and his elves. Check out our video below of the full experience!
Santa Claus will also be making his way around the Disneyland Resort! Over in Disneyland Park, he’ll be greeting children (and adults) of all ages at Pooh’s thotful spot in Critter Country. He will also be meeting at the Crystal Cove Foyer in Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel; the Great Hall at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and the main lobby in the Disneyland Hotel. Just be aware that Santa has a very busy schedule, so be sure to check the Disneyland app in advance so you can see where he’ll meeting and the proper times. Thankfully, there are still lots of seasonal activities to do while you’re waiting, like snacking on some festive food or checking out the special merchandise.
