Many of the resorts around Walt Disney World have been getting refurbished lately, including Disney’s All-Star Music. A few of the newly refurbished rooms are now open, so we stopped in to take a tour of one of the preferred family suites. Take a look at some of the changes to the new room.

Upon entering the room, you’ll find a table and chairs, couch and ottoman, and a dresser and tv. Two queen sized beds can be pulled down from the walls with ease, allowing this room to fit many more people than a standard room.

One bathroom features a single sink, plenty of cubbies for storage, and a bath tub and shower combo. There’s also a hair dryer, iron, and ironing board for convenience.

The kitchenette area features a microwave, sink, and a refrigerator. There is even a freezer section.

Just a touch of Disney character.

Inside the main bedroom you’ll find a bed with storage space underneath, a TV, and a chair. There’s also a small vanity area next to the bed.

In the dresser under the TV, you’ll find a safe and extra pillows.

This bathroom has a shower, but no bath tub. There’s a dual shower head and a shave ledge. There’s also plenty of storage space, a hair dryer, and a iron and ironing board.

Other parts of the resort are still under construction, so guests in these new rooms may hear noises during the day while work is ongoing. Rooms have opened up in the Calypso and Jazz sections of the resort, so if you’re looking to stay in one of these refurbed rooms, make sure you put a request in early. Be sure to check our video tour below for a closer look at the new family suites!
