Disney’s All Star Music Resort has been refurbishing some of their rooms, and a few of them have recently reopened. We took a tour of one of the new standard preferred rooms, so here’s a little look at some of the changes.
The only bit of Disney influence we see is above the beds. There’s a queen bed as well as a pull down bed next to it.
USB outlets can be found all around the room.
There’s a shower and bath tub, with a single shower head.
The bathroom has sliding doors, and even another mirror on the back.
The mirror is beautiful and has a lot of lighting. There’s a single sink, a make up mirror, and lots of storage space. There’s also an iron and ironing board.
There’s a coffee maker and a mini fridge.
You’ll find a safe in the dresser for you to store your valuables.

How boring! All that white and no character!
Especially since All-Stars is one of the most themed.
Seriously guys? You are complaining about those old dirty motel rooms and prefer that over a clean and sleek new room? No wonder Disney can overcharge for old stuff..
I’m sorry, am I missing something? Can’t we have both a sleek, new room coupled with some semblance of a theme? The only thing Disney about this room is the price?
How much theming is enough theming? The All Stars are already heavily themed and you want more? Maybe you should stay at a different resort.
Nice, a clean, modern, upscale look at a reasonably affordable Disney Resort. The Value Resorts are all very heavily themed so having a more minimalist amount of in room theming isn’t a bad thing. The rooms in resorts like Contemporary and GF have very little in the way of theming but there doesn’t seem to be much complaining about that.
We are going to All-Star movies resort in January. Thanks for the update to the rooms! Does the mini fridge have a really good Freezer? Since we can’t take ice into the parks anymore, we will need to freeze those refreezable gel packs. Keep up the good work!
The minibars have no freezer section.
I think you can bring ice into the parks as long as it’s in a bag (even zip lock). It just can’t be loose in your cooler

Where is the spilled Coke on the walls? What about the 2 inches of dust behind the TV? How about the smell of spoiled milk? No chipped and dented furniture? No loose encrusted shower head? No redneck sitting outside their room drinking Coors Light?
It’s not the All Star Resorts without them!

Thank you for the video. I wish you would have pulled down the bed so that we could see the headboard design, as they usually have a character mural on them and I am really curious to see if they used the same one as Movies.

I really like the refurbs! Folding up one bed, genius. Room for storage under the other bed. No scuzzy carpeting, bonus!
The glass shower doors look lovely, but hardly practical. Families don’t want to be able to see each other in shower when running into pee which happens alot when trying to make rope drop. And the glass will become crusted in soap scum and gunks.
Wonder if they will all be done by September 2020?
