REVIEW: To Be Jolly Float Sinks to the Bottom of Our Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2019 Treat Rankings at the Magic Kingdom

Another party exclusive drink for the 2019 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is the To Be Jolly Float! This float is “peppermint iced coffee topped with vanilla ice cream, crushed peppermint, and a chocolate Minnie Mouse bow.” Let’s see if it tastes as good as it looks!

If you like peppermint and coffee, then this might be for you. The iced coffee in this was good, and we enjoyed the balance of the coffee to the peppermint flavor. The addition of vanilla ice cream helped cut through both of those strong flavors.

However, compared to other imaginative, well-executed party food items like the Kakamora float, the To Be Jolly Float is pretty uninspired, with the main hints of peppermint only coming from the specks of crushed candy on top. If you’re looking for a holiday coffee or peppermint latte, head to Main Street Bakery. If you’re looking for soft serve, try out any of the other new offerings, and save your money.

We found this float at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, and honestly even though it’s November, it’s still hot enough for ice cream. Did this treat make your list or are you skipping it for something else?
