REVIEW: Kakamora Float Introduces Our Favorite New Dole Whip Flavor at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2019 in the Magic Kingdom

Aloha! Even our favorite Dole Whip spot has gotten in on the fun for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2019 and is offering a party exclusive treat, the Kakamora Float. Described as “coconut soft-serve served on top of pineapple juice and non-alcoholic blue curaçao syrup topped with a chocolate Kakamora cake pop,” let’s see how this compares to the famous Dole Whip.

We think this was the highlight of all the party exclusive food offerings. If you are a fan of Dole Whip, this is a fun play on the classic tropical treat. Even Tom, who’s not big on Citrus Swirl or Dole Whip, loved the coconut soft serve. The ice cream mixes surprisingly well with blue curacao to make best non-alcoholic tropical drink we’ve ever tried. We know this isn’t EPCOT, but with some rum, this thing would be to die for.

The praise for this treat doesn’t end there, as the tiny Kakamora cake pop was also delicious and packed with moist, fresh chocolate cake. We would have this again for sure, and it’s a certified must-get if you’re attending the party.

Again, this float can be found at Aloha Isle over in Adventureland. Did you try this treat, or did another one happen to catch your eye? Let us know in the comments below.
