A Disney Cruise Line has been arrested for allegedly raping and molesting a girl “multiple times” between 2016 and October 2019, according to the Orlando Sentinel‘s Katie Rice.
Keith Seitz, 53, who works on Disney Cruise Line on behalf of Disney Vacation Club, was arrested November 25th, after the girl, 13, told her mother about the incidents, according to the arrest report.
Court documents explain that the girl claims that Seitz molested her at his home beginning when she was 10. This “escalated” to Seitz allegedly raping her “over 100 times” beginning when she was 11. The girl also claims that he took photos of her when she was naked and stored them on his phone “for when he’s on the cruise ship.”
At the time of the girl’s interview with police, the alleged victim’s mother told authorities that Seitz was on a cruise scheduled to dock in Miami the following day.
Seitz faces two counts of sexual battery on a child under 12, two counts of sexual battery on a physically helpless person, and one count of lewd or lascivious molestation on a victim under 12. He remains detained without bond in the Orange County Jail.
He has been ordered to have no contact with the victim, or any children under 18.
Director of Communications and Public Affairs for Disney Signature Experiences (which includes Disney Vacation Club and Disney Cruise Line) Cynthia Martinez told the Sentinel that Seitz “has been placed on unpaid leave pending the outcome of the charges.”
