“Frozen 2” continues to reign at the box office for a second weekend in a row. The Disney film came in first place at the box office followed by a new release, “Knives Out”. “Frozen 2” made $85 million in North America this weekend and also brought in $164 million overseas, bringing its worldwide box office total to $739 million.

“Frozen 2” also broke a record for the five-day Thanksgiving Day weekend bringing in an estimated $123 million domestically. The way things are going, “Frozen 2” will be the sixth film this year for Disney to cross the $1 billion mark.

Fox’s “Ford Vs Ferrari” continues to perform well at the box office for Disney. The film came in third place and made $13 million for the three day weekend and a total of $19 million for the five day Thanksgiving Day weekend. So far, “Ford Vs Ferrari” has made $81 million domestically and $62 million internationally bringing its worldwide box office total to $143 million. “Ford Vs Ferrari” marks the first real box office success for Disney with a Fox produced movie. With only a budget of $98 million, “Ford Vs Ferrari” is generating a nice profit for Disney.

“Frozen 2” and “Ford Vs Ferrari” will continue to benefit from the lackluster release of movies next weekend. Both movies will face real competition when “Jumanji: Next Level” opens on December 13th and “Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker” opens on December 20th.
