Welcome to an extremely busy day here at Disney Springs. It’s been raining off and on all day, and it seems like many people would prefer to shop rather than visit the parks. We’re ready to see what’s new.
“I Conquered the PeopleMover” would make a great addition to my attractions-inspired hat collection. It’s $27.99.
Fans of “Finding Nemo” will find some new merchandise available inside World of Disney. This Jawsome youth hat features Bruce the shark for $24.99.
There’s also an adult hat, perfect for those who are a little forgetful. “I’m Having a Dory Moment” is my excuse for everything. Yes, this hat is a natural blue (just like Dory!) and shimmers in the light. You can pick this one up for $27.99.
It’s cold and rainy today, so many people have been picking up sweatshirts. The seagulls from “Finding Nemo” have been getting a lot of new merchandise lately, and we’re excited for that. This zip up hoodie is $49.99. The front has a curious looking seagull, and the back says “Mine! Mine! Mine!” with more seagulls. We might have to get this one before we leave today.
Two new Vampirina pins are available at Disney Pin Traders. Ghoul Girls Rock is $12.99 and Vampirina is $9.99.
The Toy Story Alien popcorn buckets have landed at the popcorn cart across from World of Disney.
It’s a little crowded today.
This snowflake petit cake looks so pretty in the display case and sounds even better. Cinnamon nutmeg chiffon cake is layered with salted caramel calvados mousse, cranberry and cherry pate de fruit jelly, and toasted hazelnuts.
We had to take a quick snack break, and decided to grab the holiday gelato slush from D-Luxe Burger. Layers of tart slush mixed with vanilla gelato is a winning combination.
We’re hoping the Chicken Guy! remodel might include a covered area over their outdoor seating. We’re craving chicken, but we don’t want to have to sit outside in the rain.
If you’re a fan of Star Wars and the NBA Experience, be sure to check out the Star Wars NBA Nights.
There’s actually a line of people to get into the NBA Experience today.
The second and final City Works sign has been installed, so let’s hope that the grand opening can’t be too far away.
It’s still strange not to see Bongos Cuban CafĂ© on the West Side.
That’s about all for today. Thanks for following us around Disney Springs, and be sure to stay tuned for more updates!
