Chicken Guy! located next to the Planet Hollywood Observatory at Disney Springs has recently filed permits for remodeling. This location was the first Chicken Guy! restaurant to open and seemed to be quite successful from the start. The current location is very small, and you’ll often notice a line of people outside the building just waiting to get in. It seems like this small location is due to get an expansion sometime soon, which would add more seating and indoor restrooms to the location. We’re not sure yet when the work will start, but it seems that the restaurant will remain open during the remodel. Before things start to change too much, let’s take a little look at the current state of Chicken Guy!

The restaurant has a good amount of outdoor seating, and a few tables inside.

Inside, you’ll find a long line of hungry guests waiting to order some fresh, hot chicken.

There aren’t very many tables inside, though.

The indoor seating area is very small and narrow and doesn’t offer much space. This seating area could potentially be expanding outward to accommodate more diners.

While the permits were only filed recently, we’ll be keeping a close eye on this location. Be sure to stay tuned to WDWNT for more updates on this and other projects around Walt Disney World.

  1. I find WDWNT’s website to be simply the best website for all things Disney. It is simple to navigate, comprehensive and always current. I also enjoy that you all do not drink the koolaid WDW serves up at times. Your honesty is refreshing.
Thank you so much for helping us to stay up to date when planning a trip South to Disney.
Keep up the great work! It is very much appreciated.
