It doesn’t seem like EPCOT without a festival going on anymore, and with a festival, comes brand new merchandise. Today we spotted new festival marketplace merchandise booths that were newly installed across from Future World West.
These new booths have been erected with a similar color scheme that matches Port of Entry and Disney Traders’ exterior design. They will function as additional locations to purchase merchandise throughout the various festivals held year round at EPCOT. This allows guests to have different locations when searching for festival specific merchandise.
These are tucked back by where guests can visit The Land and The Seas pavilions, keeping guest congestion at a minimum the closer you get to the World Showcase, where the festivals occur in full swing.
The basic designs allow these booths to be used throughout the year, changing for each festival. With blank signs up above, we expect to see these used soon throughout EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts when it starts in the new year. These structures will most likely be making a return for the various festivals until the new Festival Center opens as part of Project Gamma’s overhaul of EPCOT finishes.
