Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party is Returning to Disney California Adventure in 2020

“You’re jokin’, you’re jokin’, I can’t believe my eyes!” You better believe them because the Oogie Boogie Bash is returning for select nights in 2020 at Disney California Adventure.

After the incredible success of the separate-ticketed event during Halloween Time last year, it seems Mr. Oogie Boogie will be returning to take over again throughout September to October in 2020.

The event features a scary take over of your favorite Disney California Adventure attractions, such as the World of Color overlay “Villainous!”, an interactive treat trail with frightful friends, and an eerie walk through of the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail that’s transformed into Villains Grove.

Though perhaps the most sought out attraction of the evening was the chance to meet Donald and Goofy in their attire from Kingdom Hearts. This well loved video game finally got the chance to join the spotlight of events, and is well worth the wait for this meet and greet opportunity.

You can read more about our exciting time at this event here, and if you’re up for the fright of the night, make sure you get your ticket to this event when they become on sale.

  1. I am bummed to hear this. I was hoping they would move the party back to Disneyland. How can you associate oogie bogie with a party at DCA when in essence the ride is in Disneyland. 🤔. Being a childhood fan of Disney, I want to ride the classic rides during the exclusive event when lines are so minimal. Maybe they should rotate it. Have it at DCA every other year, or every 5 years.

  2. Agree, definitely disappointed that the Halloween Party will again be in DCA instead of in Disneyland Park. Last year when my family and I went, the World of Color started all attractions at the Pixar Pier were closed down. Which did not have many rides available during the night. We’ll still go to Disneyland this October, but not to the party.

  3. This is horrible news. I was really hoping this would move back into the main park after the opening of Galaxy’s Edge.
