At nightfall, guests are in for a big surprise during this year’s updated Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Disneyland Paris. Together alongside Mickey, Minnie, and Santa Claus, they can help light up the spectacular twenty four-meter-tall tree in the middle of Main Street, U.S.A.

In the new “Mickey’s Magical Christmas Lights” tree lighting show, you can watch Disney royal couples come together onstage for dancing, festive songs, and a merry good time in this all-new interactive Christmas light show, which culminates with dazzling projections on Sleeping Beauty Castle.

As Santa makes his way on up, the anticipation grows!

Of course, everything is lit up by these two oversized electrical plugs. (Who needs surge protectors when you’ve got magic?)
