VIDEO: Alternate “B-Mode” TIE Fighter Attack Scene Takes Place on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance If Kylo Ren Audio-Animatronic Breaks

“Your efforts are wasted. YOU CANNOT ESCAPE! Your precious Resistance is about to be destroyed.”

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance boasts a number of incredible audio-animatronics (Lieutenant Bek being my personal favorite), but what happens when one of the central animatronics goes down in B-mode? Spoilers ahead, so reader beware!

Inside Rise of the Resistance, there are two Kylo Ren animatronics. The second one you see during one of the many escape scenes, just after the room with the blasting cannons. This is where Kylo Ren uses the Force to manipulate both transports simultaneously before a hole is blasted into a wall and he gets sucked into space.

But what if the audio-animatronic is down? A new video showing the scene in B-Mode has surfaced, and instead of seeing the animatronic, riders see a TIE Fighter attack scene take place through the windows. Kylo then makes an appearance on the screen aboard his own TIE variant, threatening riders of their imminent demise… before ultimately getting thwarted in a similar fashion.

You can check out the full Rise of the Resistance TIE Fighter attack scene in the video below:

What do you think of this B-Mode scene? That final Kylo Ren AA is arguably the least memorable in the attraction, so I’m fascinated and eager to experience B-Mode in the future.

Brilliant idea! Why shut the entire ride down when a simple solution like this can allow guests to experience almost the entire attraction! Love this! Thank you Disney for progressive thinking!

Honestly I miss having an animatronic in that room. But that Kylo Ren animatronic is ridiculous, in a funny way, so I think I’d rather get this. The only thing that seems to be missing is the moment when he pulls you back and forth which is probably the best moment in that section.

Went through yesterday and had the at-ats fire at us in the hallway. Is this the C version? I have video of it as well. I was very impressed by all of it.
