A new teaser trailer for “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” reveals a hair-raising secret about Emperor Palpatine as he comes face-to-face with Kylo Ren.

The voice of Palpatine reveals that he has been manipulating Kylo Ren since birth… in fact, he’s been the only voice Kylo has ever heard in his head, be it Snoke or even Kylo’s grandfather Darth Vader:

“At last, my boy. I have been every voice you have ever heard inside your head.”
