Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios doesn’t open to the general public until tomorrow, but media previews are well underway, and thanks to social media, those of us voracious for more details are getting our fill of spoilers, videos, and ride-throughs. (Those of you who aren’t… should probably close this tab.)

Earlier today, we got some amazing interior and exterior shots of the attraction and its outside queue, featuring the Kylo Ren animatronic, the Resistance Intersystem Transport Ship used as part of the pre-show, and the numerous X-wings that line the winding Resistance forest.

However, if you’re looking to take things a further step, we’ve got a full POV ride-through of the attraction thanks to our friends over at MouseSteps, who have uploaded a stunning video of the entire ride onto YouTube. Note that unlike many of the videos posted to YouTube by other members of the media, this is not B-roll and is actual footage from the ride, so be prepared for extensive spoilers:

There’s much more to the ride, including an extensive pre-show and queue, so this is only a fraction of the full Rise of the Resistance experience. Having seen the ride now, what do you think?

  1. I think it’s got a million moving parts on it which means the ride will probably be down more than up. But very cool!

  2. This looks truly incredible! I can see how it’s a culmination of many ride systems they’ve developed over the years, all making a very unique and impressive experience! I can’t wait to ride it next spring, and hopefully, all those fancy moving parts and effects will be working just as well then, if at all xD
