If you’re looking to bear the crowds for the sake of spending New Year’s Eve in the most Magical Place on Earth, we salute you. Spending NYE at the parks can be a crowded and stressful time, but with a good plan and plenty of patience to wait out the day, you can count down to the New Year surrounded by the majestic fireworks and splendor you can only find at Walt Disney World. If you’re looking to plan ahead––and we cannot stress planning enough––you can check out each park’s hours, entertainment schedules, and fireworks times below.

Magic Kingdom

Park Hours:

December 30th – 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM (Extra Magic Hours: 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM | 12:00 AM to 2:00 AM)
December 31st – 8:00 AM to 1:00 AM (Extra Magic Hours: 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM)

Magic Kingdom will light up the night on December 30 and 31 with “Fantasy in the Sky” fireworks at 6:30 PM and 11:50 PM each day, plus celebration dance parties in Frontierland and Tomorrowland starting at 7:00 PM.

EPCOT

Park Hours: 8:00 AM to 1:00 AM

Also, EPCOT will celebrate the New Year as it moves around World Showcase. Each international pavilion will offer a festive announcement when the clock strikes midnight in their country, and guests can enjoy live music at the America Gardens Theatre.

EPCOT Forever will have showings at 6:30 PM and 11:40 PM, with a special countdown to 2020.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Park Hours: 6:00 AM to 12:00 AM

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can watch “Wonderful World of Animation” at 6:05 PM and “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” at 6:30 PM. Disney’s Hollywood Studios will also celebrate starting at 7:00 PM on December 31 with a dance party at Center Stage.

You can catch “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular” just after midnight (12:00 AM).

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Park Hours: 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM

Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be hosting a full-on Pin Trading event, where guests can purchase an exclusive limited edition New Year’s pin––wristband distribution starts promptly at park open! Guests can celebrate with specially-themed food and beverage throughout the park as well. If you’re looking to catch Rivers of Light: We Are One, the show will be playing at 6:30 PM, 8:00 PM, 11:15 PM. The park will also stay open until midnight and include a special countdown-to-midnight on the Tree of Life.
