PHOTO REPORT: EPCOT 1/22/20 (Chipped Paint at Cool Wash, Long Lines for Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, New Disney Skyliner Popcorn Buckets, and More)

Good morning from a very cold EPCOT! Let’s see what is new around the park this morning.

In the parking lot, grandstands remain in place for the finish line for next month’s RunDisney Princess Half-Marathon races.

Everyone was cold this morning waiting to get in to the park after temps dipped into the low 40’s overnight.

The ever-popular Skyliner Popcorn Bucket is now available at the popcorn stand outside of Electric Umbrella.

These manatees sure look funny…

It was a beautiful cloudless sky today at EPCOT.

Work on the Test Track refurbishment continues to progress.

Despite recently being repainted, this beam at the Cool Wash Coke station outside Test Track already has been chipped off.

How disappointing…

The chairs for the upcoming EPCOT Experience quick service sat empty today, thanks to the low crowds this morning.

Outside the Starbucks next to Canada, a new directional sign has been added to the switchback barriers after many guests began cutting the line here.

Is there anything more beautiful than a Monorail?

In France, guests were lining up to see the day’s first showing of the new Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along. You can check out our in-depth look at the new show.

January crowds made Japan seem like it was deserted.

Work over at the Regal Eagle Smokehouse was also rather quiet this morning.

Anyone else excited for the Lunar New Year?

As we left the park, Disney Security was working with training some new K-9’s by doing practice sweeps of the Monorails.

That does it for our visit to EPCOT today. Stay tuned to WDWNT for the latest in parks news around Walt Disney World.
