In December, we shared photos of the new tram loop drop-off at the eastern parking lot of EPCOT. But there was one key piece missing from the loop: the trams. As of today, trams on the east loop are now transporting guests.

As EPCOT continues to transform, more guests visit, which leads to more cars, which leads to a higher likelihood you will park a mile away from the front gates. So we’re happy to see infrastructure for parking trams are ready well in time for the many upcoming enhancements inside the park.

On the left, you can see the newly paved loading and drop-off area complete with railings for queues.

Imagineers are also taking care to manage traffic flow in the parks. Earlier today, we saw a partial portion of the new walkway from Innoventions East is now accessible.

There’s still work to be done on the rest of the pre-entry area to EPCOT, and WDW News Today will keep you up-to-date.
