Today, we stopped by the former home of the Path of the Jedi, site of the forthcoming Mickey Shorts Theater. The sounds of construction work once again echoed across the park, signaling that the new attraction is inching ever closer to the finish line.

Outside, the big purple walls still greet park guests as they walk by.

From the site, we noticed some work happening inside..

Contractors were hard at work on the interior of the overhang.

From the front, we could see there has been a lot of work on the support beams that used to be wrapped in neon lighting. There’s no word on whether or not that lighting aesthetic will return to the entryway or not for the new theater.

Above the overhang’s exterior on both sides, we can see support beams for what we expect to become the attraction’s marquee signs.
