Disney’s Animal Kingdom is celebrating its first-ever New Year’s Eve and is doing it big with DJ dance parties, exclusive Limited Edition pins, and special lighting displays.
New this year is a countdown on the iconic Tree of Life. Guests had viewing access around Discovery Island and Asia, and we were there to catch this special presentation. We don’t know whether this will be making a reprise next year, so here’s a special first look at the countdown:
Wow, that looked pretty uneventful. I was waiting for digital fireworks to go off on the top half of the tree instead of butterflies at the bottom.
I couldn’t care less! They literally brought my shamans back! I hope they make a return for 2021’s countdown!
