It appears the new plan is a hybrid of both the Disney Dining Plan and the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, where the new Disney Dining Plan Plus offers you two meal credits a day, but with some flexibility in terms of where and how you use them, with the option of using them at Quick-Service locations. Normally, we’d make a point to say that using these credits for Quick-Service dining is typically a poor value and use of a credit, but with new Quick-Service restaurants like Primo Piatto at Disney’s Riviera Resort and Regal Eagle Smokehouse in EPCOT, I can understand why you’d want to use your credits towards trying these great new additions.
Official pricing for the plan is as follows:
Pricing is $94.60/night for adults, and $35.00/night for children.
Does Walt Disney World offer a dining plan that you do not have to stay at Walt Disney World Resort?
Looks like they forgot to add it as an option when you book a passholder package with dining. We have a split stay this summer with dining on both parts, going into modify only shows the original 3 options. Also pretended to book a new reservation and it isn’t an option there either.
Look before you leap or call about changing your dining plan. Passholders and Florida residents need not apply. Basically if you take advantage of your Florida resident or Annual Passholder discount you are not eligible for this dining plan. In other words you must have a “rack rate” room in order to qualify for this Dining Plan Plus. Please note Disney has not placed this restriction on their website or any of the plan’s features as a statement or inference. This violates FTC unlawful advertising, many state and local ordinances. I found this out waiting for 30 minutes on hold to speak to a representative who then apologized for my frustration.
