Good morning from Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Even if you’re not a morning person, you have to admit that rope-dropping this park is exciting.
So many Star Wars fans all excited to enter the new land — and all vying for the ever-elusive boarding group to ride Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
You can’t have “early morning” without coffee.
Everyone is waiting with their fingers poised on the refresh button! With the weather finally warming up (for Florida), it was particularly crowded this morning.
Sadly, despite their appearance on the online menu for Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo for 24 hours, there was a distinct lack of sporks available. We have been told they’ll arrive soon!
The entrance for Roundup Rodeo BBQ is still taking shape, with new bamboo-looking uprights appearing behind the scrims.
“Onward,” coming to theaters March 6, is the featured preview at Walt Disney Presents, which has us scouring the park for anything else related to this fun new film.
And we were in luck! We found these open edition pins at Sunset Ranch Pins and Souvenirs for $9.99.
There’s been a slew of new Ink and Paint merchandise, and we found a few things hiding out in the appropriately themed Studio Store. It retails for $24.99.
This fun children’s backpack can be drawn on using the included fabric markers to bring out their inner artist. It retails for $34.99 and can be found at the Studio Store by Star Wars Launch Bay. Check out more Ink and Paint merchandise.
We had a great day and can’t wait to return! Stay tuned to WDWNT for the latest Disney’s Hollywood Studios news.
You know, it may be exciting for you, as someone that gets to go all the time and can pretty much ride Rise of the Resistance whenever you want. But for the rest of us that don’t have the time or money to travel to Florida that often, the idea of having one morning to fight the crowds and luck for the possibility of riding is stressful and frustrating. Rope drops are fun if everyone that’s there knows that they’ll get to actually ride the ride that they want. With this Rise of the Resistance embarrassment, no one can say that. The ride may be the best theme park experience in the world, but if I can’t actually get on it despite doing everything “right,” then it really doesn’t matter, does it?
