One of our reporters visited Disney’s Hollywood Studios today to document updates on the upcoming Roundup Rodeo BBQ at Toy Story Land. The new table-service restaurant is located by the Woody statue at the entrance of Toy Story Land, where land was recently cleared.
Looking down Toy Story Land towards the entrance, we see the building for Roundup Rodeo BBQ quite visible now as the bamboo hiding the structure has been removed.
I guess Andy’s backyard had an unthemed warehouse? He truly was a titan of industry, after all.
Fittingly located right behind the Woody statue at the front of the land, we expect this clearing to house the entrance to Roundup Rodeo BBQ.
We hope some theming elements will be added to obscure the plain look of the building and the infrastructure on the roof.
Green construction walls block the future entrance to the restaurant featuring concept art for Roundup Rodeo BBQ.
The concept art for the entrance features a toy-themed archway and building facade to try and blend the large building into the land. Interior concept art continues the oversized toy theming that intends to immerse guests in the Toy Story-themed land while serving up some barbecue.
Are you looking forward to Roundup Rodeo BBQ at Disney’s Hollywood Studios?
Is there any update as to when the restaurant might open? We’re moving our April trip to the last week of June and hoping getting to go here will be one positive coming out of not being able to go in April!
