While strolling Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we noticed some changes near the upcoming Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway today. The attraction’s photo-op area featuring Mickey and Minnie driving along toward the Chinese Theater has been removed.

Here’s what the photo-op looked like when it was in this area.

Guests now see a construction scrim near the theater.

We suspect that they are clearing space for a merchandise stand since the ride has no exit shop, but will have an extensive line of items for sale.
