While it’s hip to be square, we’re feeling more like a triangle today. At Disneyland Resort (of all places), we saw this new pair of sunglasses featuring the geodesic spheres of beloved EPCOT attraction Spaceship Earth.
The black sunglasses show the pattern of isosceles triangles on EPCOT’s symbol, with the white outline of the shapes giving off an iridescent effect.
Though Spaceship Earth is 2,500 miles away from Disneyland Resort, the iconic landmark is appreciated by designers and Disney fans around the world (thanks, Buckminster Fuller!).
Thousands of these triangles sit on top the Spaceship Earth structure. Anyone want to take a guess of how many fit on these sunglasses?
While the shiny shades make a statement to fellow Disney Parks nerds, they’re also a nice way to kick up the style around those not as Disney-inclined.
We found the sunglasses at Elias & Co. in Disney California Adventure for $19.99.
Are the shades your style? Let us know in the comments if you’d wear them.
