What’s your take on the price increase? Will you be opting to visit only one park a day with your family, or is the $5-per-ticket increase too minimal to cause a change in your park plans? Let us know in the comments!

  1. Even though prices continue to go up even multiple times a year, A $5 increase is never a deal breaker, especially if it is a once a year or every other year trip to WDW. When you are willing to spend over a thousand dollars for a trip, are you really going to consider not going because of a $5 increase? Not me. Like after every increase though, I am sure there will be people that will say they will never go again because of it. Having said that, we always got the park hopper add on. and we did use it, mostly to catch multiple fireworks and/or shows in the evenings. However, On this last, We did not use it once despite having paid for it. We went with Friends that had not been to WDW in years so between wanting to see and do everything in the parks and table service meals, we just couldn’t take advantage of it. And with all the new things opening in the next couple years and our next trip during the 50th anniversary, I doubt we will get it then. Instead, we will use the 5th and last day of the trip to hit one park twice. We did this when we could not get fast passes for FOP earlier in the week.
