Disney Surprises Healthcare Workers With Sweets and Treats at Two Florida Hospitals

Healthcare workers are on the frontlines right now as the COVID-19 pandemic has reached all 50 states in the US. For the healthcare workers in Orlando, Disney provided some of their famous sweet treats to the medical workers responsible for COVID-19 testing.

Nurses and Medical Technologists from the Orlando Regional Medical Center and Palm Bay Hospital were kind enough to send us these photos of some of the treats that Disney gave to healthcare workers at local area hospitals. A seemingly small act like this is actually a grand gesture towards all fields in healthcare right now, as they’re putting themselves in harm’s way daily.

This act of kindness by Disney follows the worldwide gratitude messages of thanks shown by Disney Parks around the globe on World Health Day.

Thank you to amylase68 and brittanyxchristine for these photos of the treats received during this healthcare crisis and thank you for all you do!

That is awesome! That stuff would have to be thrown out probably before the parks reopened, so this way they do not get wasted. Disney did the same with donating their 200 Easter lillies to local area senior citizens too

That’s so cool. Sometimes the smallest of gestures has a huge affect on people. Those on the frontlines in Healthcare, groceries, delivery drivers, and more are incredible HEROS! Thanks Disney.
