A couple of weeks ago, Disney Parks icons around the globe showed their solidarity with healthcare professionals during this trying time for World Health Day. This included park icons like Walt Disney World’s Cinderella Castle lit in blue. Now, the Tokyo Disney Resort has followed suit.

Pictures of both Cinderella Castle at Tokyo Disneyland and Mt. Prometheus at Tokyo DisneySea were shared on the official TDR Twitter account today. Incidentally, this is the first official picture of the castle since construction on Cinderella Castle completed. Both icons deviated from their traditional purple-centric light schemes for this special occasion. The (translated) caption read as follows:

At Tokyo Disney Resort, we conducted a blue light-up with gratitude and support for all medical staff. We will be happy if you look at this picture at home and it fills your heart with joy.

Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea remain closed through at least mid-May.
