PHOTOS: “New Dreams, More Fun” New Fantasyland Grand Opening Merchandise Revealed for Tokyo Disneyland

While New Fantasyland at Tokyo Disneyland is currently delayed to an unknown date in 2020, that doesn’t mean there’s nothing new to see! Thanks to Disney Fan, the official Disney magazine in Japan, we got a special peek at the New Fantasyland Grand Opening line in the May issue! We first previewed some of this back in December, and we look forward to seeing it on shelves whenever the parks open and New Fantasyland is ready! The line features the Tokyo Disneyland entrance sign along with Mickey Mouse overlooking the whole expansion. Motifs of The Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast, the Fantasyland Forest Theater featuring Mickey’s Magical Music World, The Happy Ride with Baymax, and Minnie’s Style Studio feature throughout this line. There’s a lot to take in, so there’s not a moment to waste! Please note that since these are magazine scans, the resolutions may not be ideal for some smaller items.

i wonder if the grand opening for Tokyo Disney Resort’s New Fantasyland will be the same grand opening as Walt Disney World did with Magic Kingdom’s New Fantasyland back in december 2012
