PHOTOS: Sephora Reopens at Disney Springs with Social Distancing Precautions and No More Samples
Today, another highly-awaited store reopened its doors to the public at Disney Springs, as the phased reopening enters its next stages. A haven for makeup lovers everywhere, Sephora is back in business! Let’s take a look at the newly-reopened store, and what new measures they have put in place post-COVID-19.
Outside the entrance to the store, a staff member is out ready to greet guests, along with a sign which reassures us that “Your Safety is Our Priority”. A sanitizing station is also by the door, to eliminate those germs. Employees arriving at the store are having to have their temperatures taken before entering, so they are taking these new health and safety precautions seriously.
An arrow system in the store directs guests along a one-way traffic system. The new stickers are even black and white, to fit in with the stylish interior of the store.
There are also stickers encouraging guests to keep a safe distance of six feet apart.
It is also worth noting that guests are no longer able to touch or sample products within the store, as previously we’ve been used to. All testers are now for display only. But fear not, as the shop is operating with a 1:3 ratio of staff and customers, meaning plenty of help is on hand to educate and assist when choosing the best products. It’s interesting to note the differences between retailers, because over at Basin, guests are still able to sample the soaps and scrubs available to purchase.
Sephora has also stated that they will be selling face masks, which are set to be available tomorrow. The masks will cost $10, with $5 of every purchase going to charity. It is important to remember, however, that a face mask is required to get into Disney Springs, so if you’re planning on making the purchase, be sure to have one on you beforehand.
If you are planning a trip to Sephora at Disney Springs soon, don’t forget to wear a face mask, and be prepared to social distance. Have fun!
