With Disney Springs reopening today, we’ve seen various stores and restaurants implement the latest social distancing measures, including directional markings and signs posted throughout the property. UNIQLO at Disney Springs has taken up numerous safety measures as well to keep guests and staff as safe as possible during these times.
Large signs are displayed throughout the store like this one, which inform guests of UNIQLO’s new policies.
Among the new procedures, the store is operating under limited capacity to allow customers a safe distance to shop. Guests should keep 6 feet of distance between each other, and use mobile checkout to limit personal contact. At this time, UNIQLO is limiting use of their restrooms, fitting rooms, and alteration services. Markers along the floor guide guests, and guests are also encouraged to self-bag their purchases if using reusable bags.
These signs are placed by entrances, dressing rooms and by the cash registers, as well as by escalators throughout the store.
We were informed that each dressing room was being sanitized after each guest finished using it. Any clothes that were tried on, or returned at the front counter, would be set aside for two days.
There are numerous floor markings throughout the store. Most use red arrows to keep directions.
As you approach the main check out line, there are words printed on the ground to keep guests six feet apart.
The cash registers have a plexi-glass barrier between each register, along with every other register being opened.
A team member stands in front of one of the blocked doors to assist guests with questions and with online order pick-ups.
As we see these practices in place, it’s good to see so many reminders and team members assisting in implementing these new changes throughout the store.
