VIDEO: Disneyland President Shares Video of Thunderbirds Flying over Disneyland Parks

Yesterday, the six F-16C/D Fighting Falcons from the U.S. Air Force – known to many as the Thunderbirds – flew across parts of Southern California, including the Disneyland Resort. The flyover was an effort to honor first responders, healthcare workers, and members of the military, and could be seen from Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange, Ventura and Riverside counties.

While the Disneyland Resort is still closed to guests and likely will be for quite some time, Disneyland President Rebecca Campbell shared video of the flyover on her Instagram account.

The video shows six Thunderbirds flying in formation over both Disney California Adventure and Disneyland Park, including a pretty impressive shot of the jets leaving a vapor trail as the pass over Sleeping Beauty Castle. The video is even more striking as both parks are completely devoid of guests and none of the attractions are running.

Campbell has also recently shared other content from Disneyland during the closure, including these photos of the parks.

The Disney Parks Blog also shared a photo of the flyover on its Twitter account.
